Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using our website or requesting services from Next Step Life Care.
Welcome to the Next Step Life Care website. These Terms and Conditions explain the general terms that apply when you use our website, submit an enquiry, request information, apply for a role, or engage with our online content.
By using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please stop using this website.
These Terms and Conditions are not intended to replace any individual service agreement, NDIS service agreement, care arrangement, consent form, or other written agreement between Next Step Life Care and a participant.
The NDIS recommends service agreements because they help participants and providers have a shared understanding of supports, responsibilities, and what happens if something goes wrong. NDIS

Website Information
The information on this website is provided for general information purposes only.
While we aim to keep the information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that all website content is complete, current, or suitable for every individual situation.
Website content should not be treated as medical, legal, financial, clinical, or NDIS funding advice. Participants and families should seek advice from the NDIA, a support coordinator, plan manager, healthcare professional, legal advisor, or other relevant professional where required.
NDIS Information Disclaimer
Any information on this website about the NDIS is general in nature.
NDIS funding, eligibility, plan inclusions, service suitability, and support categories are determined by the NDIA and the participant’s approved NDIS plan.
Next Step Life Care can help participants understand our services and discuss how they may fit their needs, but we cannot guarantee NDIS funding approval, eligibility, or claim acceptance.
Services and Availability
Service availability may depend on:
- Participant needs
- Location
- Staff availability
- NDIS plan details
- Service type
- Risk and support requirements
- Required documentation
- Scheduling capacity
- Compliance requirements
We may accept, decline, delay, pause, or stop services where appropriate, including where we are unable to safely or reasonably provide support.
Service Agreements
Before regular services begin, participants may be asked to enter into a service agreement with Next Step Life Care.
A service agreement may include details such as:
- Services to be provided
- Participant responsibilities
- Provider responsibilities
- Schedule of supports
- Fees and payment arrangements
- Cancellation terms
- Communication expectations
- Privacy and consent arrangements
- Feedback and complaints process
- Ending or changing services
The NDIS explains that service agreements help make sure participants and providers have the same expectations about what supports will be delivered and how. NDIS

Participants, nominees, families, carers, or representatives may be expected to:
- Provide accurate and current information
- Share relevant NDIS plan or support information where required

- The participant or nominee
- A plan manager
- The NDIA, where applicable
- Another authorised payer
Participants are responsible for ensuring that services requested are suitable for their plan and funding arrangements.
Cancellations and Changes
Cancellation terms may vary depending on the service, participant agreement, notice period, and NDIS rules that apply at the time.
Participants should notify Next Step Life Care as soon as possible if they need to cancel, reschedule, or change a service.
Where a service agreement applies, cancellation terms in that agreement will take priority over general website information.
